Bill Cusick has departed from the firm to assist St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey through its bankruptcy. Bill has joined the hospital as its Chief Financial Officer and reports to Mike Sniffen, Chief Executive Officer, who also recently came on board, having served in the capacity at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans. Bill has an extensive background in helping financially distressed hospitals serving as an employee and under contract. He has successfully navigated bankruptcy for several institutions in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. In addition, he is very adept at managing the financial demands and constraints placed on a hospital, so we wish him well during on his Chief Financial Officer endeavor.

Contemporary Health Care, Inc. is currently working with hospitals as their engaged “Management Consultant” and as required under various covenants and provisions stipulated in the governing documents of bond covenants relative to debt issue. As Management Consultant acceptable to the Financing Authority and Trustee, our recommendations regarding the financial affairs, operations, and management of the hospital, CHCI has been brought on board when a default occurs.
