Contemporary Health Care, Inc. (CHCI) provides professional technical assistance to health care providers including Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and physician groups. (EHS), a full-service health care business office operations firm, based in Birmingham, AL, that develops physician-oriented business office system solutions for physicians and FQHCs, who are leading the way to clinical excellence and practice efficiency through automation. EHS' core product, CareRevolution, is a point-of-care product that integrates an ambulatory-computer-based patient record (A-CPR) system with a practice management system. EHS delivers its software solutions via an Application Service Provider (ASP) or a turnkey solution.

CareRevolution
EHS' CareRevolution is a single application for practice management (FQHCs and physician groups alike) running on work-class technology and an industry standard structured medical directory. CareRevolution allows multiple documentation methods giving providers (FQHC providers and independent practice physicians) the ability to use the product in the way that fits their needs, maximizing provider acceptance in a cost-effective manner. CHCI and EHS in partnership, offer a simple but comprehensive training and implementation program making sure that each client receives the maximum return on their investment. The combined philosophy of CHCI and EHS relative to business office systems, specifically ASP, is that "one size doesn't fit all," of which with EHS, the system is completely adaptability to a health center's own needs, along with the necessary resources in a highly secure environment.

Comprehensive and Flexible UDS Reporting
CareRevolution helps the health center seamlessly capture the information necessary for UDS reporting to ensure compliance with legislative mandates. Data can be displayed in standard report format with graphs and charts for effective visual presentation and can be exported to Excel and other programs.

FQHC Billing and Reporting
CareRevolution provides automated billing and reporting required by FQHCs, who are entitled to enhanced reimbursements from Medicare and cost-based prospective payments from Medicaid. The system allows for processing of UB92 claims and Medicare United Government Service (UGS) claims, along with automated UDS reporting.

Clinical Event Manger (CEM)
CEM is a clinical assessment tool designed to monitor disease management and wellness protocols and reporting for Health Disparities Collaborative. The CEM helps monitor patient compliance through electronic auditing of the patient's record while assigning treatment and management protocols to the patient's chart. The system alerts the user to lack of patient compliance and actions are assigned to each step.

Scheduling
Developed with rules-based logic, the patient-scheduling module optimizes patient flow and maximizes provider resources for multiple site locations as it associates appointment needs with the unique resources at each location and unique requests of each provider.

EPSDT
CareRevolution allows FQHCs to track EPSDT visits to ensure that children receive the additional medically necessary health care allowed by EPSDT and not in excess of benefit limitations. The service allows providers to measure their plans and program performances to ensure that children receive regular screenings.

Pediatric Growth Charts
CareRevolution automatically completes the pediatric growth charts based on the vitals completed at each visit. Growth charts can be reviewed electronically and a copy can be printed for the patient. The growth charts are based on NCHC guidelines.

Dental Health
With Dental Health a key component of FQHC health care delivery, dental providers can use a unique eSuperbill during the patient visit, which automates the charge-entry process. Charges and claims are processed in the HIPAA 837-compliant format.
